Dear #SoulHealers I’ve been quiet. Not because I didn’t have anything to say, but because 2026 required me to sit still, reflect, and truly evaluate how I’ve been showing up—not just for others, but for myself. I missed saying Happy New Year. And for someone who pours into people the way I do, that wasn’t easy to sit with. But like Aunty Maxine Waters said, I am reclaiming my time. This season has called me into something deeper—more intentional, more sacred. I find myself desiring more alone time… time to explore the woman I am and the woman I am becoming. Time in my Word. Time in stillness. Time in truth. And time at home. Especially as I embrace one of the most beautiful roles of my life—being a grandmother. My grandson, Ka’Sai, was born on February 7, 2026. After spending almost a month in the NICU, he has been home for over a week now. And I can say without hesitation—he is a real-life miracle. Watching him, holding him, loving him… it has shifted something in me. It has reminded me what truly matters. This season has also taught me some hard, but necessary lessons. I’ve learned the importance of not oversharing. Of moving with God-given wisdom and discernment instead of reacting in ways that create unnecessary havoc in my life. I am protecting my peace. And through it all, I want to say thank you. Thank you for your love. Purple Path will celebrate 7 years on March 21. Both milestones are reminders that purpose doesn’t just happen—it’s cultivated, protected, and refined over time. God is. And I love you.
